Spearheaded by the seasoned guide and passionate advocate for women's snowmobiling, Lisa Granden, the OFF-GRID Experiences Women's Backcountry Snowmobile Clinics in collaboration with Skidoo & Uncharted Society offer a remarkable escape into the uncharted territories of the backcountry.
As a Ski-Doo ambassador and Uncharted Society backcountry guide at Smiley Creek Lodge in Smiley Creek, Idaho Lisa Granden, stands as a beacon of inspiration for those eager to explore the outdoors. She has been backcountry riding for 17 years now and is a voice in the sport for the inclusion of women. Her motivation stems from a desire to break barriers and foster confidence among women in a realm traditionally dominated by men.
The clinics, meticulously designed for both intermediate and beginner riders, promise an immersive experience in enhancing riding skills, fostering confidence in challenging terrains, and nurturing lasting friendships. With a limited group of 5-6 participants, Lisa dedicates five exhilarating hours to personalized instruction, including 30 minutes of on-unit training and 4.5 hours navigating the mountains.
The program covers a comprehensive range of skills, from personalized sled setups to mastering throttle control, body positioning, and adeptly handling diverse terrains. By the clinic's end, participants emerge well-prepared for backcountry adventures, brimming with newfound confidence to conquer the mountains.

For the adventure, it's recommended to pack appropriate protective clothing and accessories, such as goggles, snowmobile suits, boots, gloves, and extra layers for varying weather conditions. Additionally, bringing a credit card, valid ID, water, snacks, and other essentials is advisable.
